Who we are
We are a company registered in the UK with the name Mlambo Ltd (trading as M-l-a-m-b-o). We operate the website and provide household items and clothing retail services.

Website content
Our website features information about our services and images that represent the range of items that may be available to our subscribers. We do not guarantee that these items will always be available, but we do our best to ensure that it is representative of our stock. The images and content on our website are created or licensed by us for our use only. Please do not reproduce any of our images or content anywhere else, including on your own website or social media, unless we give our permission otherwise.

Age restriction
The website is for use by individuals aged 16 and over.

Liability
We aim to ensure that this website is error free but we do not guarantee it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability that could arise from your use of the website.

General
If any term becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that will not affect the legality, validity or enforceability of any other term. These terms are drafted in accordance with Scottish law and the Courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of a dispute but please do contact us first and we will do our best to resolve your complaint.

Privacy Policy

1. Our privacy commitment to you 

We will respect your privacy and keep any data you share with us secure. We will comply with our regulatory obligations under UK law, which includes the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the Regulations), and these terms. Where you have options relating to your privacy, we will explain them to you and comply with your wishes.

2. Subscribers 

Whilst this privacy notice applies to our use of your data, our separate rental subscription agreement contains more information about your privacy in relation to the additional details you provide to us (such as your delivery details and your payment details).

3. Marketing 

We will only ever send marketing to you if you have given us your permission to do so. If you change your mind, you can opt out by: for emails, clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom; for any other form of marketing, sending us an email at imali@mlambo.earth. We may also send our subscribers service emails that are necessary for us to provide retail services.

4. Analytics 

Our website and emails use cookies and contain tracking that we use for analytics purposes so we can improve and tailor our services. We record events such as where our users click, how long they like to browse and at what point they leave our website in order to better understand our users and their behaviour. We may also share this behavioural data with third parties such as our clothing partners and advertisers. Any data we use or share for analytics purposes will be anonymised and aggregated.

5. Personalisation 

We tailor our content to our users to provide you with the best possible service. You are able to opt out of some of our personalisation by controlling your cookie settings, and by not answering any of our voluntary quizzes and surveys, but there may be some personalisation that cannot be opted-out from. If you object to all forms of personalisation, please discontinue your use of our website and services.

Email

Where you have provided your email address to us for marketing purposes, we will only share this with third parties where you have given your permission to do so.

Behavioural data

We share behavioural data with third parties such as Google Analytics in order to improve our website. This data will always be anonymised and aggregated. If you do not wish your data to be shared in this way, please discontinue your use of our website and services.

Subscriber Personal Data

We share your personal data with third parties such as Royal Mail and CollectPlus (for delivery purposes) strictly for the purpose of fulfilling our services to you. Further details of how we will share such data will be included in the rental subscription agreement and we will only share such data where you have given your permission to do so.

Personal Profile

Where you have provided details to us of your personal preferences, we will aggregate and anonymise this and share it with third parties for the purpose of providing tailored content and advertising on our site. We will never share your full non-anonymised profile information with a third party without your express permission to do so.

8. Links to third party sites 

We may include hyperlinks on this website to other websites or resources operated by third parties. We have not reviewed all of these websites and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. These websites have their own legal terms including privacy policy and we remind you to review these carefully prior to use.

9. Deleting your personal data 

If you wish for us to delete your personal data from our systems please contact us at imal@mlambo.earth and we will remove you from our records. We may need to keep a minimum amount of personal data to record your removal request (to prove that we have fulfilled this request). We retain and delete all personal data in accordance with the Regulations.

10. General

These terms are drafted in accordance with Scottish law and the Courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of a dispute. If you have any complaints regarding our use of your data, you can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) but please do contact us first and we will do our best to resolve your complaint.

We can let you know what personal data of yours we hold (sometimes referred to as a ‘subject access request’), and we can correct any inaccuracies in our records, if you ask us, but we may need you to provide proof of your identity before we fulfil these requests.

 

Returns Policy

We hope you love your purchase but if you’ve changed your mind, no problem – all returns are complimentary. Store and online purchases can be returned to any of our four stores for a full refund or exchange within 14 days. If the item is new and unused, with all the labels and tags intact, and in its original packaging, you’ll get a full, no quibble refund. f the item is unused, in its original packaging and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase, we’ll offer a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that, unless they are faulty, personalised items cannot be returned.

  • Your return will be processed in approximately 10 days

  • Open 7 days a week, early until late

    International returns can be made to your local post office. you'll need to pay the postage and mark the parcel as returned goods or it may get held up at customs and cause your refund to be delayed. Send the packaging to: contact imali@mlambo.earth to get returns instructions

    beauty products, duvets, electrical goods, flowers, food, furniture, gift cards, lighting, mirrors, pillows, wine.
